Coming Up Next Week:
Spelling: We are taking an extra week off - Spelling will start
the week of 9/16.
Reading & Language Arts: We’ll continue our focus on various reading skills using
fun literature. This week our books will be Zoom, Pigsty, the

Lost and Found, and Recess Queen. The skills studied will be inferencing,
Compare & contrast, and character analysis.
Social Science: There will be a short quiz on directions on 9/12. A study guide
went home last week.

Mrs.Mandru's Math Class: In math, we’ll be working hard on Unit 1
Addition & Subtraction Patterns. The focus this coming week will be
on the addition table. There will be a short checkpoint quiz on Monday,
9/16.
