Math:
We will be
starting a new chapter this week. It will be chapter 18-fractions. We will also
be concentrating on dividing by 4’s this week. The graded test on 4’s
will be on Friday, March 22.
Reading:
Next
week will continue to review our reading strategies by doing guided reading
groups. We will also be writing our essays on how to trap a leprechaun.
Spelling:
Back to regular
Spelling! There will be a pretest on Monday and we will still have the final
test on Friday. If your child
gets 0,1, or 2 wrong on the pretest they will have 2 challenge activities and
the cursive sheet, they have the option to take the test on Friday. If they get
more than 2 words wrong, they will have the regular work. (Cursive sheet and
two assigned activities) The homework is due on Thursday.
English:
We will be
finishing unit 4 this week. The final test will be on Friday, March 22. The
study guide went home and the best way to review for this test would be to do
the practice pages in the textbook. (pages 162-163)
Social
Studies:
We will
continue our Chicago unit this week. We will focus on the Great Chicago Fire.
Science:
We will
continue our Space unit, chapter 10. This week we will focus on Lesson 2.
Have a wonderful weekend!
