Week of March 4-March 8

ISAT’s start this week. Please make sure your child goes to bed early and has a nutritious breakfast.  If you would like to donate some snacks to the class for the two weeks, we would greatly appreciate it.

 Thank you for donating to the treasure chest! We have been running low, if you would like to donate treasures, please feel free to send them in whenever.

Math:

We will be focusing this week on ISAT’s. We will continue to do practice. There will be no division tests because of ISAT’s.

Reading: 

This week we will continue practicing for the ISAT tests. We will not be starting a new unit this week. 

Spelling: 

There will be a pretest on Monday and we will still have the final test on Friday. But, there will only be a cursive page sent home for homework because of ISAT’s.

English:

We have started our Unit 4-Adjectives/Adverbs unit. We will focus on lessons 2 and 3 this week.

Social Studies:

We have our first Chicago quiz on Monday, 3/4/13. The students will have the opportunity to use the book, as well as, their packet that we have worked on in class. 

Science:

Next week we will be starting our Space unit, chapter 10!
