Math:
We will be
starting chapter 14: Line Segments and Angles next week. We will also be
starting divide by 8’s. The test for divide by 8 will be Friday, May 3.
Reading:
We
will continue guided reading this week, as well as using this time to start our
friendly letter writing unit. We will soon be writing to the second graders!
Spelling:
This week we will
be doing list 26. There will be a
pretest on Monday and we will have the final test on Friday. If they get more than 2 words wrong, they will have
the regular work. (Three assigned activities) The homework is due on Thursday.
English:
We have
started unit 6-pronouns. We will continue with lesson 4, 5, and 6.
Social
Studies:
The Chicago #2 (not open
book quiz) will be on Monday 4/22. We went over the study guide and filled in the
answers. The students should use that and their packets to study. We will start
our final part of the Chicago book on Tuesday.
Science:
We will start
Chapter 1- getting ready for Science on Tuesday.
