No school Friday, November 8 and Monday, November 11.
Math
We will be having our chapter 4 multiplication test on Friday, November 15th. Please be reviewing multiplication with your child.
Spelling
We will be on List 11 this week. The Pretest is on Tuesday and the final test will be on Friday. If your child gets 0,1, or 2 wrong on the pretest they will have 1 challenge activity and the cursive sheet, they have the option to take the test on Friday. If they get more than 2 words wrong, they will have the regular work. (Cursive sheet and one assigned activitie) The homework is due on Thursday.
Reading
We will be working on the strategy cause and effect. We will be reading If you Take a Mouse to School. We will then be doing some activities with cause and effect.
English
We will continue with unit 2-nouns. We will be focusing on lessons 4-6.
Social Studies
We will continue to study Downers Grove. Our field trip for Downers Grove is scheduled for November 22. Please make sure the permission slip and money for pizza is turned in by November 13th.
Science
We will be finishing chapter 9-weather. The final test will be on Thursday, November 14. The study guide went home Thursday 11-7.
